Xtreme Wildlife Update

As you are probably aware by now, it has been several months since an issue of Xtreme Wildlife Magazine has been produced. We apologize for the interruption and hopefully will be able to resolve the problems shortly. We sincerely hope this update will inform you to where we are at the moment and what we are working towards.

When we began production on our publication almost two years ago, we signed a deal with a small U.S. distribution company. They did an amazing job promoting our magazine and within the first year had quadrupled our print run. About 8 months ago, a new company based in Canada bought out our distributor. Since this takeover, we have experienced a significant downturn in both newsstand sales and profits directly attributable to the new distributor. After countless attempts to resolve the issues to the benefits of both parties, we have come to a stalemate. We cannot afford to work with their company, and they are unwilling to allow us out of our contract which doesn’t expire until November of 2007.

In the meantime, our subscribers are the ones who suffer. So in the interim, we are diligently working on resolving the problems to the maximum benefit of our subscribers.

•  We are working on producing a Special Edition “Girls of Xtreme Wildlife” issue that we will distribute nationally thru a NEW distributor, as well as, direct mail to our subscribers. Since this is a separate title there are no distribution issues.

•  Xtreme Wildlife Magazine is set to relaunch as a direct-mail title as soon as reasonably possible. We are currently finishing negotiations with a new printer and a direct-mail company. The magazine WILL NOT be available on the newsstand until the distributor issues are resolved.

•  The long awaited Xtreme Wildlife DVDs are nearing completion. They will be featured on our website and offered at a discount to our current subscribers.

•  The Bear Den is nearing the end of an extensive overhaul and will continue to be updated regularly with full access for all our current subscribers.

We value our readers, you’ve made us what we are today. We hope that you’ll bear with us while we work our way thru these trying times. We’ve got nothing but big plans for the future.

But if you’d like a refund or trade out Xtreme Wildlife merchandise for the balance of your subscription, we understand. Please contact us at: for more information.

Thanks for hanging in there with us!

Your Xtreme Wildlife Team
